This morning we hit another milestone. I just made a payment that takes us to the end of year 3 balance on the mortgage (<$193017). It feels good to be making an extra payment again. I can’t wait to be rid of it for good!
We are a bit behind with our plans to list our house for sale at the end of this year. As I was reminding DH yesterday, there are only 19 weeks of 2012 left! So we need to get cracking!! There is still painting, pavers, fencing, gardens and kitchens to finish.
I’ve started another round of decluttering. I’ll be going through each room and getting rid of what won’t fit in a downsized house. When I started this blog my goal was to be debt free by June 30th 2012. Well we have more debt now than when it began! I just want to be free of the mortgage for good.
